Over the recent decades, inclusion gained an important place in the research of education and implementation of new concepts in the work with children and youngsters with special needs. The importance of suitably qualified professionals who work in order to implement and successfully practice inclusion in education was recognized; the profile of the inclusive pedagogue evolved. Researches in this area are critical for the theory and practice as well as for the further development of inclusion. Toward this end, the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, Slovenia, and the College of Professional Studies for Educators and Business Informaticians Sirmium in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia, in cooperation with the journal Educa, are organizing the International Scientific Conference titled »The Role Of The Inclusive Pedagogue In Education«. The conference will take place on Wednesday 27 September 2017 at the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, Slovenia.

The conference is intended for the professionals working in kindergartens, schools, counseling centers, institutions for children with special needs, and civil associations, as well as researchers in higher education and other research institutions.

The conference objectives include:

·         Presentation of researches about the work of the inclusive teacher/pedagogue,

·         Exchange and presentation of practical experiences, knowledge and cases of good inclusion practice, which were developed by institutions over the recent years,

·         Presentation of cooperation of different institutions concerning the support and help to children, youngsters, parents and inclusion professionals.

The written contributions to the conference will be grouped in the following areas:

1.      Studying the inclusion concept;

2.      The role and place of the inclusion pedagogue;

3.      Realization of providing the additional professional help and individualized programs;

4.      Teaching and adaptation of the educational process to various groups of children and youngsters with special needs.
