EmpowerAId is a project designed to create a support network for teachers integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the educational process. Guidelines will be developed for the ethical, creative, and innovative use of AI, serving both current teachers and those in teacher training. The project will focus on synergies with EU and international initiatives. It aligns with the principle of digital literacy promoted by the European Education Area, which aims to ensure all teachers are confident in using digital tools by providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and awareness of the implications of digitization.

As part of the project, a thorough review of existing programs, initiatives, and educational content will be conducted. Good practices and shortcomings in the field will be identified, which EmpowerAId will address by developing its own educational model. The focus will be on:
the ethical use of AI technologies,
the creative use of AI through various teaching and didactic methods,
the development of critical thinking, and
the strengthening of knowledge and competencies in digital skills.
