RESEARCH AND ARTS

The main goal of the European project ITTS International Teachers for the School of Tomorrow – System Change as an Occasion for Intercultural School Development and Mutual Learning is to support the professional re-integration of international teachers in a strength-oriented way and to enable schools to integrate new colleagues in the sense of an intercultural opening of schools.

The activities focus on a transnational stocktaking, the development of an ITTS portal, the development of reflection and counselling materials as well as the integration of these contents into the universities’ curricula.

ITTS aims to provide impulses for international teachers as well as for schools and teacher education through cooperation with partners in seven countries (Belgium, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Poland, Slovenia and Turkey).

Kulturelle Diversität ist ein wesentliches Merkmal von Schule. Trotzdem ist der berufliche Wieder-Einstieg internationaler Lehrkräfte mit vielen Hürden versehen.

Hauptziel des europäischen Projektes ITTS Internationale Lehrkräfte für die Schule von morgen – Systemwechsel als Anlass für interkulturelle Schulentwicklung und gegenseitiges Lernen ist es, den beruflichen Wieder-Einstieg von internationalen Lehrkräften stärkenorientiert zu begleiten und es Schulen zu ermöglichen, die neuen Kolleg*innen diversitätssensibel zu integrieren.

Im Zentrum der Aktivitäten stehen u.a. eine länderübergreifende Bestandsaufnahme, die Entwicklung eines ITTS-Portals, die Erarbeitung von Reflexions- und Beratungsmaterialien sowie die Verankerung der Inhalte im curricularen Angebot der Hochschulen.

ITTS zielt durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Partner*innen in sieben Ländern (Belgien, Deutschland, Griechenland, Island, Polen, Slowenien und der Türkei) darauf ab, Impulse für die internationalen Lehrkräfte selbst als auch für Schulen und die Lehrer*innenbildung fruchtbar zu machen.

Das Projekt wird von Erasmus+ der EU kofinanziert.

ITTS Workshops-Conference 2023

The ITTS Workshop-Conference aims to support schools in regards to the professional integration of international teachers by providing, exploring and discussing material, guidelines and methods for teachers, mentors and principals. The focus is on discussing
content and sharing experiences using different creative formats.
